Before you begin your therapy journey, it helps to know what to expect. Here are answers to some of the most common questions about how I work and what therapy looks like.

Getting Started

Send me a message through the contact form or give me a call at (325) 627-6901. We’ll schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.

Reaching out for support is a courageous step, especially if therapy is new for you. I get that opening up to someone you don’t know can feel vulnerable. My goal in the first session is to help you feel safe, seen, and at ease. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and what therapy might look like together. You set the pace, and there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for.

Both. I see clients in my north-central Austin office and via secure video platform for anyone located in Texas.

Payment & Insurance

My fee for individual therapy is $175 per session. Couples therapy sessions are $200 per session. Group therapy is $60 per session.

I’m not in-network with any insurance providers. However, I can provide a monthly superbill you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Every plan is different, so it’s best to check with your provider about your specific benefits.

I hold a few sliding scale spots. If cost is a concern, reach out and we’ll talk through what’s possible.

Most clients with HSA or FSA accounts can use them for therapy. I can provide documentation for reimbursement if your plan allows it.

Who I Work With

No. I work with people of all identities, but many of my clients are queer, trans, or gender-expansive. My practice is affirming, inclusive, and identity-centered.

It’s therapy that supports your gender identity without judgment, pathologizing, or assumptions. Whether you’re exploring gender, transitioning, or simply want a space where you don’t have to explain yourself, this is a place for you.

It means I work with and support neurodivergent clients, like those with ADHD or autism, in a way that respects their brain’s wiring. No fixing. No normalization. Just support that meets them where they are.

Yes. I offer individual clinical supervision and run a consultation group for therapists seeking a collaborative, affirming space to grow their clinical skills and reflect on their work. This may be especially supportive for clinicians working with LGBTQ+, gender-diverse, and neurodivergent populations.

Individual supervision sessions are $100, and consultation group sessions are $65.

My Approach

I offer individual therapy, couples therapy, and group therapy. My approach is collaborative and identity-affirming, with an emphasis on building insight, resilience, and connection.

That depends. Some people come for short-term support around a specific issue. Others stay longer to explore deeper patterns or life changes. We’ll check in regularly to make sure it’s working for you.

I bring warmth, humor, and the understanding of what it’s like to be the client. I don’t use a lot of clinical jargon, and I don’t believe in pathologizing human experiences. Sessions with me are supportive and collaborative. We’ll explore the full spectrum of what it means to be alive, from joy and connection to uncertainty and pain, with curiosity and care.
